Zeph's Bio
Zeph has been a mathematics professor for 16 years and has served as the principal percussionist for the Salt Lake Symphony for even more. He loves to create music on the piano and has developed a skill of creating a person's heart song. He is a father of two and loves to be a part of their unfolding lives.
As an instructor of adults, Zeph has found a joy in helping people realize that they are more
than their personal stories and opinions. The study of mathematics, in particular, seems to bring forth many memories of trauma from an early age and Zeph has a passion for helping students move through these traumatic experiences so they can create new and empowering stories of their developing abilities. He has a unique ability to bring calm to people and creates safety for people to learn and grow.

A relatively new skill to Zeph, heart songs developed out of a desire to help people see their inner potential and value. Through sitting with someone and sensing their current lives and emotions, and looking beyond at their higher potentials, he is able to improvise new music on the piano that attempts to capture the messages their higher selves have for them. He often gets messages while playing that he can communicate to the person after their song is complete. Through the use of technology, he is able to capture these songs and enhance their impact so as to create a person's truly unique heart song.

Zeph was inspired to co-found Your Absolute Value to make a bigger impact on the world and to assist in people's voices, stories and songs being heard. He wants these messages made known to help others realize their absolute value so they can bring their gifts to those in need.
